Summer Slowdown

It seems that I like many bloggers am suffering from the inevitable summer slowdown. I do have several posts planned and hope to get to them shortly.

After some quick Testing it looks like I May be moving over to BloGTK

BloGTK supports more then the copy of Gnome-Blog I was using did. Not having to go to WordPress.com after each post to set tags and catagory will be nice.

I will give it a try for a while and maybe next week write a small review of it.

Testing Embedding video’s

This is another test of embedding videos. particularly Revver videos into my WordPress.com Blog. As I found this method in a Revver video I am using that Video as the test case.

Monday In Fredericton

The holiday weekend seems to have messed with my normal blogging. As I write this I am sitting in a mall in Fredericton in stead of at home. Luckily I set up Plogit and so instead of just being bored at this point I can work on my blog.

The long weekend was a quiet one for me. The next few days however will be less so. I’m not sure what it was about the weekend but I was just not in the right space to get a revver video up. Hopefully I will be able to get a new one up in the next few days. At the very least I need to comment on the lack of comments on my poll.

Well, that is all for now. I will post more later.

Update

It worked. I’m trying out “Plogit“. Although it doesn’t appear to be under active development.. it does seem to work well enough. I’ll be trying it out further to see how I like it and if there are any  problems.

It’s been a slow day so far so I thought I’d try testing posting a picture with gnome-blog. It should support drag and drop for adding pictures to blog entries..

if it works there will be a picture below

Update:

Looks like that feature doesn’t work with WordPress.com yet.. hopefully in a future version.
